Build the textile question

Describe the space, furniture or curtain geometry, traffic, light, cleaning, installation, replacement horizon and applicable code. These details determine whether the priority is abrasion, pilling, lightfastness, drape, acoustic behavior, flame response or color continuity.

Provide fiber, yarn, weave, GSM, usable width, repeat, pile direction, backing, finish and color. For performance evidence, name the method, conditioning, specimen, direction, units and acceptance level. Martindale and Wyzenbeek values should not be treated as one scale.

For acoustic applications, include fullness, air gap, backing, mounting, room geometry and frequency range. For flame requirements, identify the exact method, specimen build and project jurisdiction. A fabric result does not automatically cover every backing or installed assembly.

Include sample size, mock-up need, custom color minimum, production quantity, target date and destination. If an earlier sample is referenced, identify its approval purpose and later changes. Reports and compliance documents remain limited to issuer, entity, material, date and scope.

For upholstery, describe furniture curvature, seam position, foam, tension and cleaning products. For curtains, include finished drop, fullness, track, hem, lining, light exposure and panel repeat. For rugs or decorative surfaces, state substrate, edge treatment, traffic and maintenance. Each geometry can expose different failure modes.

Where recycled fiber, low-impact dyeing or a functional finish is requested, provide the baseline and outcome to verify. A material label alone does not establish total impact, durability or project compliance. Unknown fields may remain selection questions so the response identifies the next sample, mock-up or method.

State the approval owner, decision date, budget basis and required production handoff documents.
